EMDR Training

What is EMDR therapy?

EMDR is a therapy that stands for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. It is a therapy that uses bilateral stimulation (usually eye movements) while focusing on a traumatic memory to reduce the emotional intensity associated with the memory. EMDR therapy is a well-established, researched, and effective therapy utilized for individuals that have experienced trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) symptoms. EMDR is an evidenced-based therapy that has an increase reduction of symptoms for patients compared to other forms of therapy.
